This project draws on Hong Kong's tram as a lens onto the city's own history; a piece of moving architecture that has threaded through Hong Kong Island for over a century. Documentation of the tram's routes, rhythms, and everyday presence in the urban fabric became the starting point for the design, using the vehicle not just as transport but as a way of reading how the city has grown and changed around it.

Grounded in this documentation-led approach, the design translates the tram's role as a connector of neighborhoods and eras into architectural form, treating movement through the city as a design generator in its own right.
