Inspired by classic airport split-flap displays, this interactive installation by maison V transforms archival photographs by Hiuman Lam (Hong Kong Reminiscence) into an animated chronicle of Hong Kong Airport's evolution. Sited beneath the iconic roof of Norman Foster’s Hong Kong International Airport, the kinetic artwork utilizes 12 modular flaps to bridge mechanical logic with architectural space, turning static historical imagery into a dynamic narrative of memory and movement.

By selecting arrivals or departures, visitors trigger customized photographic sequences and tactile mechanical rhythms that echo the collective pulse of the city's travelers.
